The Water Closet Blog

What is the water closet blog and why now?
Well, the answers to both of those questions can be found in the about me section. So what is the point in this post you ask?
Good question…

Ok, I think have an answer. This is the first official post of the water closet blog (get in there) and I seem to already have writer’s block…

Since a small child, I was never the quiet one who happily sat in rows of desks completing thy teacher’s bidding. No, I was creative and social, therefore the dingy classroom didn’t suit me at all. Over the years, I have come to discover that I am – as I like to describe myself – a social butterfly or an extrovert as an official term. The curiosity of other people’s thoughts, beliefs, religions, history, and cultures is always something I have found bewildering to understand, yet the joy of experiencing another’s way of life is exhilarating.
Which leads me to the reason for this blog. I have built a career in IT over the last 7 years, and although I still occasionally find excitement, I find my morale drains far quicker than it should, things annoy me far more than they should, so I’m going to post all of my rants on here, to see how many people also agree with me – or you can simply laugh at my short temper.
Some of those rants have drafts already, including subjects such as texting, trains, and naivety.
However!

Complaining is just to pass the time for my more ambitious goal of travelling the world. I will track my progress via this blog, so that others may see what tips and tricks you can gain from life to reach goals, and of course, you can advise me when I post.
To assist with passing time, I have also decided to add a collection of memoirs. As I spend most of my time out and about, I have picked up a few funny stories that cause me to chuckle away to myself occasionally, and it would be fantastic if we could relate.

I look forward to the future possibilities of this blog and I hope you all enjoy it!
